The biggest tree in the world is a Giant Sequoia called ‘General Sherman’ at 275ft or 84m and still growing.
The oldest surviving Giant Sequoia is 3500 years old

Bark is fibrous up to 90 cm (3 ft) thick at the base giving fire protection for the tree.
Seeds are available after summer heat or after fire.
The plant can tolerates strong winds but not maritime exposure.

Sequoias have been around for a lot longer than the dinosaurs, about 70 million years earlier!
Sequoiadendrons were the dominant tree during the Jurassic Period (180 to 135 million years ago).

Plants supplied in 9cm biodegradable coir pots. Saplings 30cm-50cm tall. Perfect height for establishing a healthy tree.
